Dr. Nimisha Jain Tiwari 1. Dr. Nimisha Jain Tiwari is an accomplished academician, currently serving as the Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Agriculture at Mahakaushal University, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. A distinguished Gold Medalist in B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture from R.A.K. College of Agriculture, Sehore (RVSKVV, Gwalior), Dr. Tiwari has consistently exemplified academic excellence throughout her career. She earned her M.Sc. in Agriculture with a specialization in Horticulture (Vegetable Science) from the College of Agriculture, Indore (RVSKVV, Gwalior), followed by a Ph.D. in Vegetable Science from the College of Agriculture, Gwalior (RVSKVV, Gwalior). Dr. Tiwari further solidified her academic credentials by clearing the National Eligibility Test (NET) in Vegetable Science in 2018. Her dedication and expertise were recognized with the prestigious Prof. Lamba Scholarship in 2017. Renowned for her specialization in vegetable science, Dr. Tiwari’s contributions to agricultural education and research continue to make a significant impact in her field.

Dr. R. C. Jain

Dr. R. C. Jain, a distinguished Professor and Principal Scientist, has made significant contributions to agricultural science, research, and education. Born on December 11, 1960, in Singhpuri village, Raisen district, Madhya Pradesh, he pursued his education with remarkable achievements, graduating with honors in Science from Govt. P.G. College Bareli and completing his M.Sc. in Soil Science and Chemistry at J.N. Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur, and Ph.D. in Chemistry from Barkatullah University, Bhopal. He further earned a D.Sc. (Hons.) from Tonga University (UK), receiving the Asia Iconic Award in 2022. Dr. Jain began his career as a Research Fellow in 1984 and has held various prestigious positions, including Associate Director of Research at Zonal Agricultural Research Station, Khargone. His work spans research, teaching, and administration, focusing on soil science, crop management, and sustainable agriculture. He has authored five books, guided over 65 M.Sc. and Ph.D. theses, and published more than 55 research papers. His outreach efforts include delivering numerous radio and TV talks to disseminate scientific knowledge, particularly during the COVID-19 lockdown, for which he received the Prashasti Patra in 2020. Dr. Jain has been honored with numerous national and international awards, including the US Gold Medal, Lifetime Honours Award from Cambridge, and S. Radhakrishnan Education Excellence Award, among others. A leader in sustainable agriculture and a mentor to many, Dr. Jain’s legacy is defined by his unwavering commitment to advancing agricultural practices and empowering communities.
